Mrs. Field’s $250 Cookies

250cookiesThis recipe has a fun little legend with it. It goes like this: A lady from the American Bar Association called Mrs. Field’s Cookies and asked for the attached recipe. She was told there was a two fifty charge for the recipe. She assumed it was $2.50 and she charged it to her Visa. It wasn’t $2.50, but $250. In order to get her money’s worth she passed the recipe out to everyone. Now, who knows if that’s true or not, but, frankly, I don’t care. A great cookie recipe came out of it. 🙂
